Textbook Purchases
Spring 2010 textbooks are currently available. We will begin returning unsold Spring textbooks to the publishers on March 29. We plan to have MayTerm 2010 books available during finals week beginning May 10.
Textbook costs range from $200 to $500 per semester, and must be paid at time of purchase. We accept cash, checks, Discover, MasterCard and Visa. Charges to student accounts for those who qualify must be pre-approved by Financial Services. We work very hard to gather a good supply of used books and our prices are very competitive with other sources, including online sellers.
Textbook prices and information are subject to change without notice. In many cases actual used book prices are lower than those listed, especially for old editions. More courses and titles will be added as information is received from instructors. Courses for which information has not yet been received from the instructors are not listed.

Textbook Refund Policy
Sterling College will give you a full refund on textbooks purchased at SC Bookstore if you drop a course and return the book by the end of the drop/add period and follow this standard policy. Absolutely no refunds will be given without a cash register receipt.
1. Bring your cash register receipt and a drop slip from the Registrar. The Bookstore will charge you a 10% restocking fee if you didn't drop the class.
2. Return your books in the condition in which you purchased them. New books must be without marks or signs of wear. Bookstore staff will evaluate the condition of the book(s) to be returned. You may receive a 50% refund if the book is determined to be in used condition.
3. Adhere to all warning labels on shrink-wrapped materials and on materials containing software.
The last day to return Spring 2010 textbooks is February 9, 2010. No refunds will be given after this date.
Book Buyback
• Please do not confuse buyback with refunds, which are only given at the beginning of the term.
• A representative from a used book wholesaler buys books from students at wholesale prices, which are set at considerably less than retail. He will buy any books with current market value and no receipt is required.
• Buyback is scheduled during finals week at the end of the fall and spring semesters. There is not a separate buyback for Interterm.
